6.D 7.A 8.C 9.C 10.A
11.D 12.A 13.C 14.A 15.D
16.D 17.C 18.C 19.B 20.D
21.C 22.A 23.B 24.B 25.A
26.A 27.B 28.A 29.D 30.B
31.B 32.C 33.B 34.A 35.D
36.C
2. ABC maybe true but dont match the observation.
3. B, if enzyme ist reusable, no gas bubble.
4. hydrogen peroxide is a variable.
5. inverted pyramid of biomass means the producer has a very high rate of reproduction (such as protist)
6. the main point is ecological balance
7. the light behind the eye is long-sighted.
8. blood capillary and short distance can be seen.
9. DNA difference is the basic of classification.
10. Memory B cell only recognise the same pathogen.
11. A: cytoplasm, B,C: matrix, D: inner membrane.
12. the offspring is heterozygous with same genotype and only dominant present.
13. (2),(3) are essential to generate different combination of genotype. (1) seem not the "most possible".
20. (1) inter-neurone (2) sensory neurone, with cell body located on dorsal root ganglion (3) motor neurone, with long axon. X is motor neurone connecting and controlling the contraction of muscle.
25. The retention time of storage organ depends on the volume. Just like you go toilet when the urine up to certain volume. So the retention time of faeces also depends on volume so
larger volume = less time (assume we all agree that)
more fibre = less time,
then more fibre = larger volume.
D is wrong because we cannot deduce hardness from the graph
29. C6H12O6, H2O only contribute two H for glucose (O become O2). 6C and 6O come from CO2.
35. X is right ventricle because the online picture.

the ans of 20 is probably D
+1
刪除I think so, let me change its answer. :)
刪除For question 35, isn't it D ? (i m not sure , but chamber X is more likely to be ventricle ?)
I think X is likely left atrium
刪除but the wall of the other side is thicker, shouldn't it (chamber X) be the right side?
刪除and the right atrium is located at a higher point... so chamber X should be right ventricle ?
Q35: chamber X is left atrium. For atrium, there is no discussing the thickness of wall
X is atrium? Are you sure? Have you ever dissect a pig heart? It is right ventricle for sure
The answer for 5 is D.
As mentioned in oxford textbook, inverted pyramid of biomass indicates that the producer has a very high rate of reproduction. The textbook used phytoplankton as an example (Chapter 20 Page 33) as it has a very high reproduction rate.
The answer for 35 should be D,
The section in the middle is the spetum, divding the two ventricles
As it is the smaller ventricle with less thick muscles, it must also be the right ventricle.
C is incorrect, as ventricles do not receive blood from vena cava, but the right atrium.
Hence D is the answer
It can also be known that the heart chanbers in 35 is ventricles as atrium shouldnt share a wall with each other, only ventricles will share a wall called septum
回覆刪除wtf is atrium didnt share the wall? there are also interartrial septum
刪除no need argue everyone for Q35!! It's very simple!!!!

so it must be right ventricle! Those saying atrium see you next year :)
刪除洗唔洗咁口賤話see you next year啊
錯一條都see you next year 咁恭喜你你無滿分啊 see you next year :)

刪除你把口真係好撚賤:)you are actually the one going to retake next year!:)
so rude saying foul language!
刪除search heart dissect in google can find the original photo with label. The label should be labelling right ventricle
回覆刪除and 1D is also incorrect coz digestion of carbohydrates occur out side the cell not in cell mebranes
Note that cell membranes is in plural. It should refer to all cell related phospholipid layers
1D is correct. It occurs on the surface of the epithelial cells.
刪除why the question 25 answer is A ?
I wonder if 25 is B ?
刪除but I think ans D is more based on the given information
刪除For A, with more dietary fibre, making the faece more bulky, stimulate the peristalsis, so decrase the retention time.
刪除For B, it is not true. Dietary fibre is not osmotic agent.
For D, it is a wrong causative relationship. The amount of fibre does not relate with the time of water absorption by the faece
but question has stated the relationship of dietary fiber content and duration time for material stay in large intestine
刪除I think Q25 should be D. Deduced from the result shown in the graph, i.e. less dietary fibre content leads to longer retention time at large intestine, we can know that the time of water absorption will be longer and consequently the faeces will be harder. The causative relationship is very clear here.
刪除For A, it is not something deduced from the graph, but instead it is a possible explanation of the result shown by the graph. Option A will only be the answer if the question asks 'Which of the following can explain the graph?'

回覆刪除why Question 29 is D?
C6H12O6, H2O only contribute two H for glucose (O become O2). 6C and 6O come from CO2.
Q25:
刪除retention time does not imply water absorption time.
Q29:
plant biomass is measured as organic-bound carbon per unit area
so it's D.
Retention time does imply water absorption time. From the question, it is stated clearly that retention time refers to the duration for which the undigested materials stay in the LARGE INTESTINE. Water is continuously absorbed in large intestine.
In my view, the carbon in the dinosaurs is changed to coal after its death. Then, combustion of coal gives carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. Then , the plant converts carbon dioxide into glucose by photosynthesis and stores it as starch. After Mary eats the food , the food is digested into glucose again. Then, the glucose changes to carbon dioxide by cellular respiration and gives out in the breath by gaseous exchange in the lung.
First ,the dinosaurs dead body is decomposed by fungi.Converting organic substances into inorganic.Fungi absorb nutrients(carbon including) and uses for anaerobic respiration.carbon dioxide is produced and release into the atmosphere. After million of year, the carbon is converted into glucose by plant and it is regenerated by fungi.in the end it exist as an atmospheric co2 and appear in mary breath
